Our mission is to inform taxpayers, promote the wise use of public funds, oppose waste, advise public officials regarding issues of concern to taxpayers and recommend positions that will best serve the taxpayers’ interests.

VCTA has been looking out for the interests of taxpayers in Ventura County since 1954 – over 68 years. VCTA believes in efficient, effective, and transparent government.

Without the help and generous support of residents like you, VCTA could not be effective in its mission to advocate for and inform taxpayers on issues critical to them.

VCTA is entirely funded by the contributions and support from our members and donors. We are a non-partisan 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization and donations are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions (EIN: 95-18099). Your membership subscription and all money contributed stays in Ventura Count y to directly support VCTA’s efforts.
